Hole in the Rock

Downstream from S-Turn is Hole in the Rock. Will first be identified by a small island in the river. To the left I understand there is a decent surfing wave, however I generally go right for Hole in the Rock. It's formed by 2 large rocks in the middle of the channel one of which is undercut. Hence the rapid's name. The sneak for this is to run down far channel left, and between the two rocks at moderate levels forms a great surfing hole. At very high water, the two rocks form sizeable holes. (The one on the right being pretty sticky!)
